John & I were having Sunday breakfast at Quince Cafe in Berkeley with our friends Phil, Maile, Richard & Erika. Six of my pie paintings had just been hung on the walls of the cafe and we wanted to see how they looked. After breakfast Erika, Maile and I were wondering where the guys were. We looked out the front window and all we saw were their backsides. John had the hood of his 1937 Olds Business coup up and the guys were checking out the engine ... boys will be boys, no matter what their age!
